The attorneys of Alfaro-Abogados have developed
a strong practice in aviation law issues, such as the structuring
and drafting of multiparty agreements for the purchase, sale
and lease of new and used aircrafts, negotiating and executing
long and short term secured financing transactions. In connection
with these dealings, Alfaro Abogados has developed a vast
experience in conducting the necessary filings with the Dirección
Nacional de Aeronavegabilidad and other state controlled aeronautic
agencies such as processes of certification of new aircraft
models and engines manufactured and approved in countries
different than Argentina, the registration of foreign owned
aircrafts, the request of aircrafts' export and import permits,
and the registration of mortgage deeds and related documentation.
In addition, we have been active in the conduction
of judicial and extra judicial proceedings for the repossession,
deregistration and foreclosure of aircrafts under Argentine
laws, participating in appraisals and audits of aircrafts,
pre-purchase and off-lease inspections. Furthermore, we have
conducted extensive due diligence in connection with Argentina's
airport privatization process.
