Gastón
Bilder specializes in Energy Law with a focus on Oil and
Gas Law and Project Finance. He has recently participated
in the acquisitions of Camuzzi Group by ENEL, in the project
finance for the Uruguayana Pipeline, in the filing of
the first lawsuit over crude oil derivatives, in the divestiture
of Supermercados Norte SA, the merger between Nestle SA
and Ralston Purina Inc. and several other M&As. He
has acted as in-house counsel for the Perez Companc conglomerate
and has participated in the privatization of Gas del Estado
and of several oil and natural gas transportation and
distribution companies, in Latin America. He has acted
as advisor of Petrobras, Mobil Oil, Lasmo Plc, Petronas,
Dong Won Int., Equitable Resources, Petrolera Santa Fe,
Hunt Oil, Parker & Parsley, Cordex Oil, Chauvco Resources,
Marathon, BHP, Veritas Geophysical, Ampolex, Perez Companc
SA, OPIC and the IADB.
He holds a Master in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher
School, Tufts University where he specialized in International
Business Relations (Corporate and International Finance)
and a Masters Degree from the University of Buenos Aires
in Oil and Gas Law. He has published several articles
in Oil and Gas Law journals. He is a native Spanish speaker
fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Russian.
